King Mohammed VI appointed her on September 29 and asked her to form a new government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El Mansouri\u2019s Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM) won 97 of the 395 seats in parliament, ahead of the National Rally of Independents with 66 seats and Istiqlal with 65.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A former mayor of Marrakech and urban planning minister, El Mansouri must now negotiate with other parties to form a coalition government.
