It also warned that restrictions on Afghan women working for the UN are making it more difficult to deliver humanitarian assistance effectively to women and girls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the briefing, nearly 75% of Afghan women-led organisations experienced funding cuts over the past year, while more than 80% reported increasing needs among women and girls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The UN has again called for all restrictions on women and girls to be lifted and for the international community to keep their rights and protection a priority. Afghan women and girls need more than statements.
