Freedom Front Claims Attack Killed Three Taliban Fighters

Bareen Media – The Afghanistan Freedom Front says its fighters attacked a vehicle carrying Taliban members in Faizabad, the capital of Badakhshan province, on Monday morning.

The group said the attack took place at around 9:45 a.m. near the Taliban’s Directorate of Mines. It claimed that three Taliban members were killed and two others wounded.

The Freedom Front also said none of its fighters were injured. The Taliban had not publicly commented on the claim at the time of reporting, and the reported casualties could not be independently verified. Recent months have seen repeated attacks by anti-Taliban armed groups in Badakhshan.
