Afghan Political Missions Condemn Pakistani Airstrikes in Kunar and Helmand
BAREEN Media – The Coordination Council of Afghan Political and Consular Missions has condemned Pakistan’s recent airstrikes in Kunar and Helmand, calling them a violation of Afghanistan’s sovereignty and international humanitarian law.
The council called on the United Nations and the international community to take steps to help protect civilians, particularly women and children, from further harm.
The council also expressed sympathy with the victims and said Afghanistan’s people deserve peace, security and a future shaped by their own aspirations.
