More Than 8.3 Million Afghans Received Humanitarian Aid

Bareen Media – The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) says humanitarian partners provided at least one form of assistance to 8.3 million people in Afghanistan between January and July 2026.

According to OCHA, 47 percent of those who received assistance were children, while women accounted for 33 percent and men for 20 percent.

OCHA said 1.1 million people received at least three types of humanitarian assistance during the same period.

The aid was provided as millions of people in Afghanistan continue to face economic hardship and limited access to essential services.
